Latin Impact (Impacto Latino) combines a unique blend of instruments including the Cuatro
(a ten-stringed relative of the mandolin), a horn section consisting
of Trombone, Trumpet, and Saxophone, Keyboards, Bass. The heart of Afro-Cuban
based rhythms is the Percussion Section. The percussionists play an array of instruments including the
Congas, Timbales, Bongos, Maracas, Güiros, Claves, Cowbells, and
Tambora. The lead singers round out the band by providing a variety of styles, whether it is a pulsating Merengue, stylish Salsa, or the famous Bolero. |
For the past fifteen years, Latin Impact has captivated audiences, playing both current and classic arrangements, including Latin Jazz and American favorites.
